Titan Airways scoops Best Passenger Airline award

Titan Airways, the London Stansted-based VIP charter specialist, has scooped the prestigious Best Passenger Airline accolade at this year's Baltic Air Charter Association (BACA) Awards.

BACA is the world's largest and most respected network for Air Charter Professionals, representing the interests of air-brokers, charter airlines, airports, business aircraft operators, freight forwarders and consultants at both a commercial and political level. The winners of five award categories were announced at the annual BACA Awards Luncheon, held at Plaisterer�s Hall, London on 19 April, hosted by former England rugby player and Rugby World Cup winner, Will Greenwood MBE.

Titan's Commercial Director, Alastair Kiernan, accepted the Best Passenger Airline award, which was presented by Wendy Murphy of Direct Air Charter, the award's sponsor: "I am delighted to receive this award on behalf of the dedicated team at Titan Airways. This is a reflection of the effort and hard work contributed by everyone concerned and I am thrilled that these efforts have been recognised by fellow BACA members."

The new Chairman of BACA, Markham Jackson said: "The awards acknowledge those who have contributed an outstanding level of service to the industry."

Best General Aviation: London Executive Aviation
Best Airport: East Midlands Airport
Best Handling Agent: Signature Flight Support
